I have not decided if I will change my markers yet and I plan to connect the dots of the same color to eachother. I got the idea when I walked into a very disorganized barn where they had this mix of tractor parts. So I decided to mapp the different brands (john deere, international harvester, massey ferguson). I also went a step further trying to add more points.
this looks like it will be really cool. i mentally mapped out all the lines while looking at it and i think it will be really cool when you're done
ReplyDeletei like it! i think it will be neat to see the finished project with the added lines to connect the colors to each other!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like it's going to be really cool!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea - do the different colors represent the different brands you mentioned? I really like that the size of each brush mark matches the size the object it represents. The various dot sizes make it appealing because it creates a sort of constellation effect. So far so good! I'm interested to see what this would look like with the dots connected.
ReplyDeleteyes the colors are meant to match the brands they correspond with, except for the pinkish color it was just a random color to go with the random objects.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. How did you choose the colors? I enjoy how the bright colors contrast with the rusty, gritty environment from which they are extracted. The dots remind me of spray paint, almost as if you took a spray can into the scene. Are you going to present the two images together?
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of presenting the 2 images together I didn't think of doing that. I picked the colors based on the brands ex John Deere- Green, Massey Ferguson- Orange, International Harvester-Red....
